Description

After three books are handed to three different people they may have a free selection of which then one person is used for the effect. The spectator is asked if there is anything wrong with his selection to which he replies there is not. He is now asked to select any story and tell it to the audience so that he can know that there is no trickery involved. After the title is given he is asked how many words are in the title (say 3), the performer says to count to the third paragraph and remember the first 3 or 4 words the paragraph starts with and to make sure they are not forgotten it is said for them to say aloud to the audience. The performer goes on to say that on the table is an envelope that has been in full view of the audience all the time and that the performer will cut open the envelope so that the spectator may remove the prediction. Once this is done the prediction says that the selection will be the magazine and the only story and the only paragraph starting with the words (the words at this point are correct to the selection). This is a very fine effect from Himber that should have you grinning from ear to ear as is the case with most Himber items. Includes instructions and all from 1960. Condition Private Collectors Identifier Label, mock up envelope is yellowed with age but you will be making up your own, otherwise very good.

Payment is due upon auction close unless other arrangements have been made prior to bidding.
