It was great seeing all my old friends and making acquaintance with many new customers at the recent Magi-Fest. I have been attending this convention mostly as a featured collectibles dealer for well over 20 years now and it is like homecoming for many long time attendees.

***************************

I am finally able to start with the listing of items acquired from the Holland Museum along with several other collections that have come in since. I suggest visiting the site often as changes will occur with greater regularity and I am sure there will be something for everyone that will suddenly appear without notice. Hope you like the new site and that you will be pleased with all the upcoming changes.

You are now able to order securely through our shopping cart using the Buy It! after each item. If you experience any difficulties just let us know and we will be happy to assist. Most items we offer are one of a kind collectibles and there is always the possibility that an item will be gone when you place your order. Your order will be confirmed via email when it is received and then reconfirmed with availability and any applicable shipping charges.

I would like to bring my work I have been doing on gathering information on the Taytelbaum book to a close. So I ask that if anyone has been holding back to please make that call and contact me with what you have. If you have any props you think I might be interested in, please let me know as I am ready to purchase!

News Release

Sale of European Magic Museum

Nestled in the charming countryside by the border of Belgium and The Netherlands in the town of Baarle-Hertog stood a building full of magic treasures. This building of approximately 4,000 square feet housed the Louis Sicking Goochel Museum. Known throughout the European magic community, the museum was an awe inspiring, wondrous place of magic complete with a performance stage full of props.

This privately held magic museum of Louis Sicking had a large library of books in English, Dutch, Flemish and German language, the larger part being in English. In addition to the books were Catalogs and files of European Magic Periodicals.

The apparatus in the museum ranged from Micro-Magic to Stage Illusions with everything in-between. Display cases and shelves lining the walls held larger items in addition to countless drawer units containing Close-up and Micro-Magic. Posters, Magician's Tokens, Printing Cuts, Rare Prints, Gambling Holdouts, Unique Gimmicks and items too numerous to mention were housed in this special building. Every European magic manufacturer is represented within the holdings of the museum.

Louis Sicking, now in his 80's, began with his interest in magic as a young man buying things that interested him most. The result of his love and fascination of magic was his dream of having a museum of magic, which he accomplished.

Louis Sicking decided it was time to pass these many items on, knowing others would enjoy having the opportunity to own individual items from the museum.

The museum was sold to Kenna Thompson of KT Magic, Inc. based in Northern Kentucky. Kenna spent weeks in Europe overseeing the packing and arranging for transportation to the United States.

The huge Sea Container with its precious, priceless cargo has just arrived and its contents have now been moved to a secure, undisclosed location. In the coming months as the items are unpacked, the contents of the museum will be offered for sale.
